Dr. Leslie Davis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with more than 12 years of experience in crisis management, in addition to 8 years as a therapist treating youth, families, and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, and family conflict. Dr. Davis holds a PhD from Regent University in Counseling and Psychological Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Ministry. She earned a BA in Sociology from Wheaton College and an MA in Professional Counseling from McKendree University. As part of her PhD dissertation, she created She Matters with Leslie Davis, a psycho-educational podcast for Black single moms who may struggle with relationship dynamics with the goal of reducing depression and suicidal ideation. Dr. Davis joined the Perinatal Behavioral Health Service in 2021, where she provides therapeutic support to families impacted by congenital heart defects in the perinatal period.
